The children were all dribbling yesterday – but in a good way!
We were lucky enough to receive a visit from Newcastle Eagles, the most successfull British basketball team of all time.
The coach put the children through their paces and taught them some basic skills, keeping his eyes open for any future stars. He was suitibly impressed with the natural talent some of our children seem to have.
The whole school took part in the 45minute session, with some saying they really wanted to attend the new classes at Gateshead Leisure Centre. More details on class dates and time to follow.
Support our school – art work for sale
The children have been very busy creating masterpieces which are now up for sale.
You can pop along and buy their artwork from our Community Room every morning, or every day after school.
We were very impressed by the time and effort the children put into this project, and they were keen to impress with their talents. Well done to every one who took part!
